Home to the most photographed view of Snowdon, Capel Curig is a village in North East Snowdonia between the high mountains of Snowdon, the Glyders, the Carneddau and the Conwy Valley further East.

There are a number of walking paths near Capel. Two popular are the walk North East to Trefriw and the riverside walk from Betws-y-coed via Swallow Falls.

Should you wish to do anything involving mountains, go on a course, find out about climbing conditions, eat, drink and chat, or even gain qualifications, then the National Mountain Centre should be your first port of call.

St. Jullita's Church, is the smallest in Snowdonia and was originally known as Curig's Chapel, it gave its name to the village of Capel Curig.
The church was created, financed and crafted by the people of Capel Curig, representing the simplicity and the spirit of the village.
